We are located over at Barakhola, at GD FR 343. It is a spot people know if they live around this part of the city. Bengal Sweets And Bakers is pretty much what the name says. We spend our time with flour, sugar, and the ovens. The shop is at LP 208 6. It isn’t a huge place, but it works for what we need to do every day. Making sweets and bread involves a lot of early mornings. You have to get the dough ready before most people are even awake. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes when you’re baking for a crowd. We aren't trying to be some big corporate chain with fancy advertisements. It’s just us here, making sure the shelves have something on them for the neighborhood. People stop by on their way home from work or first thing in the morning. We’ve gotten used to the regulars who come in for their favorite items. The location in Barakhola is convenient for our needs. We just focus on the recipes we have. Every day is a bit different depending on what people are asking for that week. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but we like the smell of the place when the ovens are on. It feels like a real, honest job. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just make the food and hope people enjoy it when they stop by the shop.
