We are located at 121/4X/1 Manicktala Main Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but it’s where we do our thing. Balaka Infrastructure And Managerial Development is a long name for a fairly simple operation. We mostly look after infrastructure projects and try to manage things so they don't fall apart. The office is busy, and there’s always someone coming in with a question or a problem that needs solving right away. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just use common sense and the experience we’ve picked up over the years. Manicktala is a lively area, so there’s always noise coming in from the street, but we don't mind. It keeps us feeling connected to the city. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to contractors and checking on schedules. It’s a lot of juggling, really. Some days it feels like we are just putting out fires, but that’s just the nature of management. We don't use any fancy marketing language because we don't really need to. People know what we do. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. We’ve got a small team, and we all pitch in where needed. It’s not always perfectly organized, but the jobs get done. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to do it right the first time.
