Ayush Earthmovers

If you head down to 2, Khetra Das Lane in the Pilkhana area of Bowbazar, you’ll find Ayush Earthmovers. It’s an old part of the city, and the lanes can be quite narrow and crowded. Dealing with heavy machinery in a place like this has its challenges, but we’ve managed it for years. Our office isn't much to look at—just a desk, some old chairs, and a lot of paperwork regarding parts and maintenance. We spend most of our time out where the machines are, rather than sitting behind a computer. The atmosphere around Bowbazar is always energetic and a bit chaotic, which suits us just fine. We handle a lot of heavy equipment, so there’s usually a lot of talk about engines, hydraulics, and treads. It’s a gritty business. We don't use polished language because the people we work with are practical and straight to the point. Most of our guys have been doing this for a long time and they know these machines inside out. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a group of people who know how to handle big gear. When things break down, it’s a headache, but we figure it out. The neighborhood knows us as the place with the big equipment. It’s a simple operation based on years of just doing the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be reliable in our little corner of Pilkhana.
