Avilambh Builders and Developers Private Limited has its office at 33A J.L. Nehru Road. We are on the 4th floor in Room No. 02. This is right in the middle of Kolkata, so it’s always loud outside with the buses and the taxis. Being in such a central location is handy for getting around to different parts of the city. The office is just a workspace with some old files and a few computers. We spend our days dealing with the realities of urban development. This means a lot of meetings with architects and checking on various building sites across the city. Construction in a place like Kolkata is never easy because of the age of the buildings and how crowded everything is. We just take it as it comes. We aren't interested in sounding fancy. We are just builders who have been around the block a few times. Most of our work involves managing the details that go into a new project, from the first brick to the final coat of paint. It’s a lot of phone calls and sitting in traffic. We have a small staff that keeps things running. People come to us when they need a project managed without a lot of fuss. It is a busy life, but we have been doing it long enough to know the ropes and how to get things done in this city.
