Autonomous Body Under Govt Of West Bengal

We are located out in Baruipur, which is part of the 24 Parganas South area, just on the outskirts of Kolkata. The office is on G Bose Sarani. Being an autonomous body under the West Bengal government means that things move at a certain steady pace here. It is a lot of administrative work, handling various files and making sure the specific regulations are followed. The building itself is older, with high ceilings and big fans that hum all day long. We have a small courtyard where some of us take our tea breaks in the afternoon. It gets very humid in this part of Bengal, so the office can feel a bit stuffy during the monsoon season. We are not here to sell anything to anyone; we just manage the tasks that are assigned to us by the state government. Most of the staff have been in government service for decades and know the routines. There is a lot of history in the way we do things here. We do not have a shiny website or a social media presence. People come here when they have official business to settle. The walk from the train station is about fifteen minutes, and it is usually lined with small stalls selling snacks.
