We are based at 115 Cotton Street in Kolkata. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our office is right in the thick of it. ATLEK INFRACON has been around for a bit, and we handle various infra-related tasks. It's a crowded building and the stairs are narrow, but it’s home for our business. We don't have a lot of space, just enough for some desks and our filing cabinets. We aren't the type of people to sit in long meetings with PowerPoint slides. We’d rather be out talking to the vendors or checking on the site progress. Cotton Street is a good place for us because everything is close by. We don't use any marketing fluff or try to pretend we are something we are not. We are just a local company in the 700007 zip code doing our best to manage construction projects. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout to be heard, but we are used to the chaos of Kolkata. We take on the work, we find the right people to do it, and we make sure the supplies are delivered. It’s practical, everyday work. We don't have a big mission; we just have jobs that need to be finished. That’s how we’ve always operated and it seems to work out okay for the most part.
