If you head over to 4 Synagogue Street and take the lift to the 6th floor, you’ll find us in Room 609. Atlek Developers Private Limited shares this office space with The Bengal Rope Works. It’s a busy building in a very old part of Kolkata. The rooms are a bit high up, which gives us a bit of a break from the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking down below. We focus on development projects, which means a lot of blueprints and phone calls. The office isn't anything to brag about. It has a few desks and a lot of folders stacked up. We’ve been operating from this 700001 address for a while now. It’s a convenient spot for meeting people because it’s so central, even if parking is a nightmare. We don't have a big marketing department or any of that. Usually, it's just a few of us trying to coordinate with builders and site managers. Things can get a bit disorganized when multiple projects are happening at once, but we manage. We aren't a huge corporation with a fancy lobby. We’re more of a small group that knows the local construction scene. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is close. It’s just regular work for us. We don’t put on airs. If you need us, we're usually there during normal hours, having some chai and looking over plans. We just take it day by day.
