Atelier

Atelier is based out of P748 Lake Town Blocka in Kolkata. Being in West Bengal, we have to deal with that heavy humidity for a good part of the year, so our office usually has a fan or the air conditioning going full blast. The Lake Town area is pretty nice, and Block A is where you’ll find our building. It’s an older structure, but it works for what we need. We spend our days mostly sitting in front of screens or talking to people on the phone. It's a bit of a trek to get here if you're coming from the other side of the city, but we like the neighborhood well enough. Inside, it's pretty much what you'd expect. There are some filing cabinets that haven't been opened in years and a coffee machine that works most of the time. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up in the morning, do the work that’s expected of us, and close up shop in the evening. There are a lot of small businesses around here, so we feel like we fit in pretty well with the local crowd. It’s a straightforward environment without any of the corporate fluff you see in the big city towers. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff and try to keep things moving.
