Ashok Tracon Pvt Ltd is located on the second floor of 17, Brabourne Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and loud it gets. Brabourne Road is always packed with people and vehicles. Our office is in one of those older buildings where the hallways are high and the walls are thick. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we handle all our trading work. Being on the second floor is good because we are a little bit away from the street noise, though you can still hear the trams and buses. We have old wooden desks that have probably been here longer than some of the staff. Everything here is about the day-to-day trading. We check the ledgers, talk to our partners, and manage the logistics. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout. The light in the office is a bit dim, but we have big lamps. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It’s just a place where business happens in a very traditional way. We know the other shop owners and office workers in the building, so there is a nice sense of community. We just come in, do our jobs, and head home when the market closes.
