Arfa Developers Private Limited is based out of Tiljala, specifically at 15D Kustia Masjid Bari Lane. This is a very local part of Kolkata, and we are right in the thick of it near the Municipal Corporation area. The lanes around here can be pretty narrow and crowded, which makes moving materials a bit of a challenge sometimes. We focus on developing land and buildings in the neighborhood. It involves a lot of talking to neighbors and making sure we aren't getting in anyone's way too much. The office is small and we know everyone who walks by. There is a mosque nearby, and the sounds of the area are just part of our daily life. Developing land isn't just about the building; it’s about the legal work and the permissions too. We spend plenty of time at the government offices trying to get the right stamps on our papers. It can be frustrating, but that’s the reality of the business. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people just find us because they know someone we worked with before. We take things one day at a time. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, and other days we are running around from sunrise to sunset. It is a bit of a rollercoaster, but we have been doing it long enough that we don't mind the ups and downs anymore. We just keep building what we can.
