Arani Creation

You can find us at No. 10 Gopal Banerjee Street in Bhawanipur. It’s an older part of the city, and the building reflects that. The street is narrow, as most are in Bhowanipore, so it’s more of a place for walking than driving big cars through. At Arani Creation, we have a fairly simple setup. There are tables for cutting and desks for the paperwork. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and dealing with suppliers. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s quieter than the main markets. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, and we watch the daily life of Bhawanipur pass by. It’s not a high-tech office. We still use a lot of paper and pens for our notes. The ceiling fans hum constantly to keep the humidity away. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the street outside a bit difficult to cross, but we stay dry inside. It’s a very practical space. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; if you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We’ve been at No. 10 for a while, and it feels like home now. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It’s just a place where we try to get things done right.
