Our office is right on M.G. Road, which if you know Kolkata, you know is one of the busiest places you could ever be. It’s loud, crowded, and there is always something happening right outside our door at 116/H/4. APSOZIAM EXPORT PRIVATE LIMITED started because we saw an opportunity to move goods around, and we just stuck with it. There are days when the phone doesn't stop ringing and the heat is just trapped in the building, but we manage. We handle a lot of export documents and talk to people from all over, though we’re just sitting here in a small room in West Bengal. It’s not glamorous. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the filing cabinets are overflowing with old records. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves going. Sometimes we wonder why we chose such a hectic street to work on, but then again, everything we need is right here. The markets are close by, and the energy of the city keeps us moving. We don't have fancy titles or a big board of directors. We’re just a small team trying to get shipments out on time. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the logistics and the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the chaos. It’s just another day on M.G. Road for us.
