We are over at 18B Ashutosh Mukherjee Road in Kolkata. It’s a busy spot, mostly what you’d expect from this part of town. The office is where we spend most of our daylight hours dealing with the paperwork and plans for Anupatra Homes Private Limited. It isn't a very fancy setup, just some desks and chairs and the usual stuff you find in a place where work actually gets done. People walk by outside all day long and it gets pretty loud with the traffic sometimes. We’ve been here for a bit now, just handling the day-to-day things that come up with housing and property. There is always something that needs fixing or a document that needs a signature. We don't really have a big speech to give about what we do. It’s just us showing up, answering the phones, and making sure everything stays on track. The neighborhood has changed a bit since we started, but we are still here in the same spot. Sometimes the chai man comes by and that is the highlight of the afternoon. We try to keep things simple and honest because that is just easier for everyone involved. If you find yourself on Ashutosh Mukherjee Road, you’ll probably see our sign. We are usually inside working on the next project or finishing up some old files. It’s nothing glamorous, just a regular workplace with regular people trying to do their jobs right.
