Anamika'S Mushroom

My place is over on Biren Roy Road, specifically at number 237 in Sakuntala Park. I've been doing this mushroom thing for a long time now. It’s not a big fancy factory or anything like that. Just a space where we keep the bags and the trays and try to keep the temperature right so the mushrooms actually grow. Most days you’ll find me there checking on the humidity or making sure things are clean. Mushrooms are picky. They don’t like it too dry and they don’t like it too hot. It started out as just a small project at home but it kind of grew on its own. Now we have quite a bit of space dedicated to it. We deal with white buttons mostly, and some others if the season is right. People from around Sakuntala Park know where we are. It’s a bit tucked away, but we like it that way. The work is dirty sometimes, and my hands are always damp from the misting bottles. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the crops without bruising them. We spend a lot of time packing them into those little blue punnets. Sometimes the power goes out and we worry about the climate control, but that’s just how it goes here. It’s just Anamika'S Mushroom, nothing more, nothing less. We’re just here every day doing the work and hoping for a good harvest.
