Amolika Developers Llp is based at Jhunjhunwala House, which is at 7 Jadulal Mullick Road. This part of Kolkata has so much history and the buildings are all packed together. Our office is right in the middle of that buzz. It can be quite a scramble to find parking around here, so most of us just use public transport or walk. We work on various development projects across the city. The office inside Jhunjhunwala House is simple and practical. We have some old wooden furniture and lots of files stacked up. We do not really go for the modern glass-and-steel look. It feels more real this way. Most days we are busy talking to contractors and checking on the progress of our current sites. The noise from Jadulal Mullick Road is constant, but it keeps us energized. We have a small staff who have been with us for years. We know the local regulations and the people at the municipal office quite well. It takes a lot of patience to get things built in this city, but we have plenty of that. We do not spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just seeing our signs at the work sites. It is a steady business and we take pride in seeing a project go from a hole in the ground to a finished building. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
