Amit Trade Centre Private Limited

Amit Trade Centre is over at 90 B.K. Paul Avenue in Kolkata. If you know North Kolkata, you know how these streets are. It’s narrow, crowded, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. We’ve been in this building for years. It’s an old place with high ceilings and those big windows that let in the street noise. We do trading here, mostly dealing with various goods that come through the city. It’s a lot of phone calls, writing down numbers, and keeping track of deliveries. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just a few of us who have known each other forever. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the business. Sometimes the traffic on B.K. Paul Avenue makes it hard for people to get to us, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a website that does much, and we don’t really care for fancy brochures. People who need to find us know where we are. We just try to keep things simple. If a deal comes through, we handle it. If there’s a problem with a shipment, we fix it. It’s just how things work in this part of town. The building has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of it. We’re just local traders doing our bit every day without making a fuss. That's life for us at number 90.
