Our office is located on the second floor of a building on NSC Bose Road. It is Flat 102, so the whole place feels a lot more like a home than a sterile, cold workplace. Kolkata is such a busy place, and this particular area has a lot of noise and energy. We have been here for a good while, tucked away in this part of West Bengal. You have to walk up the stairs since the lift is sometimes temperamental, but we do not really mind the exercise. Most days, it is just a few of us sitting around wooden desks with stacks of paper and computers. The tea stall right downstairs is where we always get our morning break and a bit of gossip. We do not have a big sign outside or anything flashy to show off. Usually, people find us by looking for the 235 1 2B address near the main road. It gets very humid in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always spinning fast. We do our work, talk to our clients, and try to stay as organized as possible. It is not a high-tech hub, just a solid, honest place where we get through the daily tasks. Sometimes the noise from the street comes in through the open windows, but you get used to the sound of the city after a few months. We really like being a part of the local scene here in Kolkata and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
