Alchemist Hr Services is located in Flat 2B of the Sangeeta Apartment. The building is at 100B N.S.C. Bose Road in Kolkata, which is in the 700040 area. Being in an apartment building makes the office feel a bit more like a home than a stiff corporate space. We have our desks set up in the rooms, and it can get a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time. We spend our days looking through resumes, talking to people on the phone, and trying to match folks with the right jobs. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of listening. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just a delivery, other times it’s someone coming in for a chat about their career. We don't have a fancy reception desk; you just come in and find someone to talk to. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though things pick up when a big project comes in. We like being on N.S.C. Bose Road because it’s easy for people to find us using the local transport. Most of us take the bus or the metro to get here. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency out there. We just want to do our work properly and help the people who reach out to us. It’s a simple setup, and that is exactly how we like it to be. It’s a decent way to spend the work week.
