Advanced Management Consultancy

You can find us over at 3/116/1, Azadgarh in the Tollygunge area of Kolkata. It’s a bit of a maze back here in the lanes near Regent Park, but it’s a good spot once you know where you’re going. We call ourselves Advanced Management Consultancy, but mostly it’s just a few of us in a small room with a lot of files. The building is one of those typical Kolkata structures where the paint is a bit faded and the hallways are narrow. We’ve got the 700040 pincode, so we’re right in the heart of the south side. Every morning we open up the shutters and get the computers going. It’s humid here, so there’s always a fan spinning over our heads while we look through client papers. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see me or one of the other guys sitting at a desk covered in notes. We help people with their business problems and try to make sense of the paperwork that piles up. It’s mostly talking to folks and trying to find solutions that actually work in the real world. We take our tea breaks at the stall around the corner where the chai is strong. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we don’t feel the need to act like we’re something we aren’t. It’s just a local consultancy trying to stay busy.
