Our workshop is located in Panagarh Bazar, right by Darjeeling More and near the Howro Motor shop. Rejhul Islam is the one looking after things here. We are all about handlooms, which is a bit of a traditional way of doing things. It’s not like those big automated factories. Here, things take a bit more time because of how they are made. The bazar is a lively place to be, always something happening outside our door. Inside, you can hear the rhythm of the work going on. We have looms set up and plenty of yarn and thread in different colors. It gets a bit crowded with all the equipment. We aren't trying to be a fancy boutique. We just produce handloom goods. Sometimes the weather makes the wood of the looms act up, but that’s just part of the trade. We’ve been in the Panagarh area for a while. It’s a good spot for a business like ours because people know where to find us. We don't spend money on big advertisements; we just rely on the work we do. It’s a busy life in the bazar, and we are just glad to be a part of it. We keep our heads down and focus on making sure the handloom pieces come out right. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it’s what we do. The threads are everywhere, and we are always busy winding them up or setting the frames.
