It’s a busy street, and you can always hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the windows. We do overseas trade, which involves a lot of coordination with people in different time zones. It isn't as glamorous as it sounds. Mostly it’s just us sitting at desks and making sure the numbers match up. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. Our space is functional and a bit cramped with files, but it works for us. We aren't interested in using a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just buy and sell things across borders and handle all the boring paperwork that goes with it. Some days the heat in Kolkata is really something, and we just keep the fans going and keep working. It’s a small team here. We know our regulars and we know the local tea stall guy. That’s the kind of business we are. Just a regular Kolkata outfit doing our best to keep things moving. We’ve been at this for a while and don’t plan on changing our simple way of working or the way we talk to people.
