We started aaroohi reality llp because we wanted to do things differently in the local property scene here in Kolkata. Our office is tucked away at 7B, Dr. Harendra Coomer Mukherjee Sarani. It’s a busy spot, but we like it that way. We spend most of our mornings drinking chai and looking over paperwork. Sometimes the phone rings more than we’d like, but that is just how it goes when you’re trying to get things built or sold. Most people around here just call us by our name. We don't have a big fancy lobby with waterfalls or anything like that. Just a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of maps on the walls. Being based in West Bengal means we deal with the heat and the rain just like everyone else. If you walk down our street, you might miss the sign if you aren't looking for it. We are not some huge corporation with thousands of employees. It's just a handful of us making sure things move forward. We handle a lot of the day-to-day grind that comes with reality work. It isn't always glamorous. There is a lot of waiting for permits and talking to contractors who are running late. But we show up every day at the Sarani office and try to figure it out. We’ve been here for a bit now and know the neighbors pretty well. We’re just regular folks working in the city.
