Aarkay Engineering Corporation

Aarkay Engineering Corporation is located over at 6-B Saklat Place. It’s one of those spots that’s a bit tucked away, but once you find us, we’re easy to remember. We do engineering work, mostly focused on parts and technical services. The office and the workshop are kind of mashed together in one space. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because there’s always some piece of machinery being worked on or some grease somewhere. We’ve got some older desks in the corner where we do the billing and the drawings. It's a small team of us here. We don't really do any big marketing or have a sales team. Usually, people find us because they need a specific part fixed or they've heard we can handle a certain type of job. Saklat Place is a good central location for us. We’ve been here for a while and the landlord is decent. Sometimes the lights flicker when we turn on the heavy equipment, but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just try to get the engineering right so the customer doesn't have to come back with the same problem twice. It’s a lot of manual work and getting our hands dirty. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news. It’s a quiet life, mostly, until a big job comes in and we have to stay late.
