A. S. Industries is situated at 10 Kalitara Bose Lane. It’s a narrow street, the kind where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Our workshop has been here for years, and you can usually hear the sounds of work coming from inside throughout the day. We are an industrial outfit, so things can get a bit dusty and loud, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just make things. Most of our time is spent on the floor, checking the machines and making sure the output is what it should be. The lane is a bit tight for big trucks, but we make it work somehow. We aren't trying to be some massive global brand. We just want to produce solid work that we can be okay with. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. It’s the kind of place where you wear work clothes and get your hands dirty. We’ve had the same neighbors for a long time, and we like the local feel of being on Kalitara Bose Lane. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s honest and it keeps us busy. We just keep our heads down and do the job as it comes, making sure we stay on top of the orders that pile up on the desk.
