Our office is at 1 Sunyat Sen Street in Kolkata. It’s an old part of the city, and we like the feel of the neighborhood. A K DEVELOPERS LLP is what we call our business. It’s a busy street, and there’s always something happening outside our window. We spend our days looking at land and figuring out how to develop it into something useful. It involves a lot of talking to the city officials and looking at old maps. Some days are just filled with phone calls that never seem to end. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who know the local area well. We started this because we wanted to be our own bosses and build something for the community. The office is usually a bit cluttered with rolls of paper and half-empty tea cups. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or big signs. We’d rather focus on making sure the projects we take on are done right. It’s not always glamorous, especially when dealing with old pipes or narrow streets. We just take it one day at a time. If you’re walking down Sunyat Sen Street, you’ll probably see us coming or going.
