A. B. Engineering is tucked away at 1A/2 Selimpur Lane. It’s a small lane, and it can be easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We have been doing engineering work here for a long time. Our space is filled with lathes, drills, and bits of metal everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place, but it is where things get made. We don't have a lobby or a fancy waiting room. Most people just walk right into the work area to talk to us. We do a lot of custom jobs. Someone will bring in a broken part or a drawing on a piece of paper, and we see if we can machine it for them. It is slow work sometimes because you have to be precise. We don't use a lot of automated stuff; it’s mostly manual. That way we can see exactly what is happening. We are just a few guys who like working with our hands. We’ve been on Selimpur Lane so long that we know all the neighbors. We don't do any advertising. Our reputation comes from the stuff we’ve built over the years. If you need something fixed or a part turned, you just come by. We’ll have a look and tell you what we can do. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. We don't ask for much more than that.
