Our office is at 133 Jodhpur Gardens in the Pramila Bhaban building. It’s right across from South City Mall, which means the traffic can be a real nightmare in the evenings. We’ve been here for a while, tucked away in this residential street that turned into a commercial hub. The office is basically where we sit and plan out trips for people. There are maps pinned to the walls and stacks of travel brochures that we probably should have cleared out months ago. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phones to dealing with the internet going down when we’re in the middle of a booking. Most people find us because they’re visiting the mall and happen to see our sign. We spend a lot of time on the phone with hotels and transport guys, trying to make sure everything is lined up right. It can be pretty stressful when things don’t go as planned, like a flight delay or a sudden change in someone’s schedule. But we just deal with it as it comes. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of logistics and talking to people. We like Jodhpur Gardens though, it’s a good spot even with the noise from the main road. We’re just a regular travel unit trying to stay busy and get people where they need to go without too much trouble along the way.
