Salvart Chai

Salvart Chai is right here in Moment Nagar, tucked away near the main market in Kolhapur. Most days, we open up early while the sun is still coming up and the market is just starting to wake up. You can hear the carts rattling and people shouting to each other across the street. It’s a busy spot, but we like it that way. We spend a lot of our time just getting everything ready, making sure the tea is right and the stove is going. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a plain place where we do our work every day. People from the market stop by often when they need a break from their stalls. It gets quite loud around here in the afternoons, especially when the main market is full of shoppers. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by name. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit difficult, like when it rains and the road gets muddy, but we just keep going. We don’t have any big speeches or fancy goals, we just show up and do what needs doing. It’s a simple life, honestly. We focus on the chai and making sure the stove stays lit. If you walk past the main market, you’ll find us easily enough. Just look for the sign near Moment Nagar and you’ll see where we spend all our time.
