Gadre Tea Co. is based out of Gate No. 447 in the Nagaon District. It is a quiet area mostly, away from the big city noise. We deal with tea leaves and the packaging side of things. The smell of tea is pretty much everywhere around here, which is nice. Nagaon is a good place for this kind of work. We are not some huge corporation with offices in every city. It is just a local operation. We get the big bags in, sort them out, and pack them up into smaller sizes. The gate stays open for the farmers and the transporters who come by daily. We have been at this same spot for a long time. The building is a bit older but it does the job for us. We have a few rooms for storage and one small room where we do the tasting to check the batches. We do not use big words or have fancy brochures to show off. People in the district know us for the work we do every day. It gets very humid here, which is not always great for storage, so we have to be careful with the ventilation. Every morning starts with a cup of whatever we are packing that day. We do not have a marketing team. Just us and the tea. Gate No. 447 is easy to find if you know the main road. We just keep our heads down and work.
