Moontree Cafe

If you are driving along the Old Pune Bangalore Highway in Kolhapur, you might have seen us. Moontree Cafe is tucked inside the Hotel Sayaji. It’s in the E Ward, right near the Tararani Chowk. It’s a busy part of town. People coming off the highway often stop in for a break. We’ve got some tables set up and the atmosphere is pretty casual. It’s not one of those places where you have to dress up fancy. Most people just want a quiet spot to sit for a bit. The staff here has been around for a while. We know the highway traffic can be stressful, so we try to keep things calm inside. We get a mix of travelers and local Kolhapur folks. The address is 2104/15, which sounds complicated but once you see the Sayaji building, you’re there. We don’t do a lot of flashy marketing stuff. We just focus on making sure the coffee is hot and the seats are comfortable. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, sometimes it's quiet, it depends on who is working the shift. We like being part of this hotel because it brings in all sorts of different people. Every day is a little different here. If you’re passing through or live nearby, you can just drop in. We are usually here from morning until late evening, just keeping the place running.
