Sairaj Machinery

Sairaj Machinery is located at Plot No 7, Gat No 287, in the Gokul Shirgaon MIDC area of Kolhapur. This part of Kolhapur is full of foundries and machine shops, so there is always a layer of dust in the air and the constant sound of grinding and welding. We moved into this plot a few years back when our old workshop got too cramped. It is a decent-sized space with enough room for our fabrication equipment and a small area for storing finished machines. Most of our days are spent dealing with the mechanical side of things. We aren't the type to sit in an office all day; we are usually out on the floor with grease on our hands, trying to fix a machine or assemble a new one. The staff is mostly local guys from the surrounding villages who have learned the trade on the job. We don’t bother with fancy uniforms or corporate talk. If a customer comes by, we usually just offer them a cup of tea and talk about the technical specs of what they need while standing next to the machines. Kolhapur is known for its engineering skills, and we try to just do our part in that tradition. The work is hard and the hours are long, especially when we have a big deadline, but that is just part of the deal. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the machinery we build actually works.
