Karni Textile Industries LLP is set up at Gat No 892, specifically Plot No 23/137 in the Shahapur area of Hatkanangle. We’re out here in Kolhapur, which is a great place for this kind of industry. Our workshop is a decent size and we have enough room for the machines we need to keep the production going. It’s not a polished showroom by any means; it’s a working textile site with all the noise and scrap pieces you’d expect from a place like this. We spend most of our hours making sure the looms are running right and the workers have what they need to finish the batches. The weather around here can get pretty hot in the summer, which makes the work a bit tougher, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don’t really do a lot of advertising or anything like that. Most of our connections are just through word of mouth or people we’ve known in the trade for a long time. It’s a hands-on type of business. When you come by the plot, you’ll see we are more interested in the fabric than in making the office look perfect. We stay focused on the daily output and try to keep our heads down. It’s just honest work in a busy industrial part of Maharashtra. We don't complicate things more than necessary.
