Dauri Pharma

Being near the Maruti Mandir here in Talkula Kolhapur means there is always something going on outside. You can hear the bells and the people passing by all day long. At Dauri Pharma, we’ve got a pretty standard routine. We show up, unlock the doors, and start checking what came in the night before. Kolhapur gets quite warm, so we keep the fans running constantly. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. We have stacks of files on the desk that never seem to get smaller no matter how much we work on them. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or people visiting the temple who realized they forgot their tablets at home. We try to keep a good variety of things in stock so nobody has to go all the way into the main city. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy and leaks a little near the back door, so we have to move the boxes around. It’s just part of being in an older building. We don’t have any big slogans or high-tech systems. It’s just us, the inventory, and the people who come in needing help. We stay open until the temple crowds thin out in the evening. It’s a good spot to be, even if it gets a bit noisy on festival days.
