Our office is in Sonai Nivas, which is in the Shivaji Peth area of Kolhapur. We are in the 1004/A ward. It is a traditional part of the city, and the streets can be quite tight. People around here know each other well. The building itself is a regular house that has been converted for our use. It has that local Kolhapur feel to it. We don't have any big glass walls or shiny signs. Just a board out front so people know they are in the right place. Working in Shivaji Peth means we are close to everything. We can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Sometimes it is the local markets or just people talking loudly in the street. We have a small team here. We mostly deal with pharmaceutical distributions and paperwork. The rooms are a bit small, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. It gets quite busy during certain times of the month. We usually have tea delivered from the shop at the corner. It is a very grounded way to work. No one is wearing suits or trying to act important. We just focus on getting the crates moved and the records updated. It is a steady life in a good part of town.
