Shree Bal Datta Pharma

We are located in the D Ward of Juna Budhwar Peth, at number 2593. This is one of the older parts of the city, and you can really feel that when you walk down the lanes. The buildings are close together, and there is always something going on. Our shop, Shree Bal Datta Pharma, is tucked away in this neighborhood. It’s a small place, packed with shelves from the floor to the ceiling. We have to be very organized, or we’d never find anything. The street outside is narrow, so you won't see many big cars, mostly just bikes and people walking. We’ve been here long enough that we know almost everyone who passes by. The morning starts with sweeping the front and getting the stock ready for the day. Sometimes the light in the back of the shop flickers a bit, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a few customers come in at once, but we make it work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a local pharmacy for local people. We talk to the neighbors about their families while we look for their medicine. It’s a slow and steady life here in the Peth. We finish up in the evening, pull the gate shut, and do it all again tomorrow. It’s just what we do to get by in this busy corner of the ward.
