Our office is on the third floor of Krystal Plaza, over in Tarabai Park. It’s Office T5. We’ve been working as engineers and contractors in this area for a good bit now. Being in E Ward means we are close to a lot of the active sites, which helps. It’s a lot of coordination, really. One day we are checking blueprints, the next we are talking to vendors about supplies. It never really stops. The elevator in the building is a bit slow sometimes, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of people. It’s a small group of us who actually know how to build things. We spend most of our time on-site, getting our boots dirty. Tarabai Park is a nice area, quite professional, but we don't spend much time sitting in the AC. We have our hands full with the actual contracting work. It’s a lot of logistics. People ask us how we manage it all, and the truth is we just take it one project at a time. There are always challenges, like delays or costs going up, but that’s just how the industry is. We try to stay practical about it. We’ve been around the block a few times and seen how things go wrong when you don't pay attention. So we just pay attention. That’s the job.
