Lakhiganj Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Village Kaimari, near Bilasipara. Sahanur Islam is the person who looks after the paperwork at our address in Dotma. We are based in the Kokrajhar district of Assam. Our group is made of regular farmers who wanted to work together to get better results. We don't have a flashy office or any corporate polish. Most of our time is spent out in the sun, tending to the crops. We meet up at Sahanur's place when we need to discuss the business side of the farm. It's a humble setup, but it works for us. We don't have any interest in marketing talk or making big promises. We just want to grow good produce and make sure the farmers in our group get a fair deal.
