Parween Steel

Parween Steel is our little business located at Dhamniya Chowk in Simaria, Chatra. We are situated right near the H S High School, so our days are marked by the sound of school bells and children playing nearby. It is a lively spot because the chowk is a major intersection for people traveling through the area. We deal in different kinds of steel that people use for building their houses or making repairs. Our setup is quite simple; we have a yard for the stock and a small area where we handle the customers. We don't believe in spending money on big ads or fancy signs. Most of our customers come to us because they’ve seen us here for years or a friend told them to come by. We spend a lot of our time helping people figure out the right amount of steel for their projects. It is hands-on work, often involving cutting metal rods, which can be noisy and produces a lot of sparks. We don't mind the noise, it is just part of the everyday routine. We try to be helpful and give honest advice about what we have available in the yard. If we don’t have exactly what someone is looking for, we try to point them in the right direction.
