We’re located at the West Bokaro Division, specifically over at the JRDTTC in Ghatotand. Ramgarh is a bit of a different world compared to the big urban centers. It’s more industrial in a raw way, tucked into the hills and the greenery of Jharkhand. Our spot here is where a lot of the training and technical work happens. You can see the open cast mines not too far away, and the landscape is constantly changing because of it. The air is a bit fresher here than in the middle of Jamshedpur, but it’s still an industrial site at the end of the day. We have a lot of people coming through for various programs and sessions. It’s a place of learning but also a place of hard work. The roads out to Ghatotand can be a bit bumpy, and you have to watch out for the heavy equipment moving around. We’ve got a quiet routine here. Most of us live nearby or in the company quarters, so work and life just sort of blend together. We don’t go in for anything flashy. The buildings are functional and have that sturdy, government-built feel to them. We spend our days looking at technical stuff and making sure the machines and the people are ready for the tasks ahead. It’s a solid community here. Everyone knows why they are here and what needs to be done to keep the division going properly.
