Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

Situated on Siddapura Road in Coorg, this school is in a very green area. It’s near the Vidyalaya Post, and the drive up here is quite nice with all the trees and hills. Coorg has that specific weather where it’s often misty or raining, so the school building has a bit of that weathered look on the outside. Inside, it’s a typical school setup. We have No. 43 as our address, and it’s a fairly well-known spot for people living around Siddapura. The classrooms have big windows to let in the natural light, which is great until it rains and we have to shut them tight. Students here are used to the quiet surroundings. There’s no city noise, just the sound of the birds and the occasional bus passing by on the road. The staff is a mix of people who have lived in Coorg forever and some who moved here for the job. It’s a practical place where the focus is on the daily lessons and getting the students through their exams. We have a playground that’s often damp because of the climate, but the kids don't seem to mind the mud much. The atmosphere is very relaxed and not at all like those high-pressure schools in the big cities. It’s just a place for learning in the middle of the countryside. Parents often stop to talk to the teachers under the porch when it’s raining.
