Verkote Spices

If you come to Kacheripady, you’ll find us on the first floor of Amina Plaza. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying the heavy sacks up to 68/1296 B1 and B2 can be a real workout every day. Verkote Spices isn't some big factory; it's just a couple of rooms where we do all our processing and packing. From the window, we can see the traffic moving through the intersection below. It’s usually pretty noisy, but we are used to it. We spend our hours sorting through seeds and pods, making sure everything looks okay. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work, which can get a bit tiring on the eyes. We don't have any fancy marketing people telling us what to say. We just work with the spices and sell them to people who know where we are. Sometimes the smells from the different spices get mixed up, and the whole floor smells like a big kitchen. We keep our space as organized as we can, though it gets messy when a big shipment arrives. It’s just us here, making sure the orders are filled and the bags are labeled correctly. We don’t overthink it. It’s a job that needs doing, and we are glad to have the space in Amina Plaza to do it. Also, the landlord is okay, and we get along with the other people in the building.
