Amigo Foods

The office is at 8/2144 in the Sun 'N' Moon building. It’s a bit of a funny name for a place where we work with food all day. Most of the time, the air smells like whatever we are processing or packing that week. We have a few desks and then the area where the actual work happens. It’s a lot of checking labels and making sure the bags are sealed right. We don't have any big windows with a view, just the regular walls and the fluorescent lights that flicker sometimes. People are always coming in and out with boxes. We have a small table in the corner where we eat our lunch, usually whatever someone brought from home. The building itself is busy, so there’s always noise from the hallway. We don't do much marketing or anything; we just fill the orders that come in. Some days the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic outside, and that throws everything off. We spend a good amount of time cleaning surfaces because you have to when you're dealing with food. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the stacks of boxes get a bit high when a big shipment arrives. We just work through the pile and start again the next morning when the sun comes up. It’s a simple routine that works for us and our small crew here.
