Njarottil Cement Products

Our place is over at 5/421 on P P Road in Pathipalam. It is a busy spot most of the time because of all the traffic moving through. We handle a lot of cement products here, mostly blocks and things like that which we keep stacked in the yard. The yard is usually full of piles that we have just finished making. It gets a bit messy when the rain starts, which happens quite often around here, so we have to be quick with the plastic covers. We have got a couple of workers who have been with us for years and they know the routine better than anyone else. We don't really do any advertising. People just see the shop when they drive by on P P Road or they hear about us from their neighbors. Some days are slower than others, and we spend those times cleaning up the workspace or checking what we have left in stock. It is a lot of physical labor, moving heavy bags and stacking things so they don't break. The road gets quite noisy with the trucks going past all day, but you get used to the sound after a while. We open up early and stay until the work is done. It is not a glamorous job by any means, but it is what we do. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders ready for whoever is building something nearby. We keep things simple.
