Our place is located right in front of the Federal Bank in Valakazha. Being in Kakkanad means things are always changing, with new houses and offices going up all the time. We handle the heavy side of things like iron rods, cement, and stone. The yard is usually quite busy with trucks backing in and out. It’s a lot of physical work, moving materials around all day under the sun. We get a lot of dust on our clothes, but that's part of the job. People find us easily because of the bank across the street. We keep the office simple, just a place to write down orders and take calls. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a day because the transport is stuck in traffic. Kakkanad traffic can be a real problem some days. We don't have any big sales pitches here. We just show people what we have in the yard and tell them the price. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it for a good while now. Most of our customers are locals or small contractors who have been coming to us for years. We just try to keep the supply steady so their work doesn't stop. Every morning we open up and start the same routine again. It's just how the days go when you're selling building materials in a growing place like this.
