Lion Curry Powder

Our place is at 17 Poothrikka Road in Kinginimattom. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though you get the occasional truck rumbling past on the way to somewhere else. We deal with curry powder, so the smell is quite strong once you get close to the door. It’s the kind of scent that stays on your clothes long after you leave. The building is just a standard structure on Poothrikka Road, nothing that really stands out from the other houses and shops nearby. We spend our hours grinding and packing, making sure the weight is right on the scales. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. It’s just us here, doing the same things every day. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them, which is always a bit of a headache. Kinginimattom is home for us, and we know the rhythms of the street pretty well. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to work every morning. We just keep our heads down and get the curry powder ready for whoever needs it. It’s simple work, but it fills the day and keeps us going. We like the fact that it’s a local operation without any extra fuss or complicated systems that just slow everything down during the day.
