Our office for Orient Export Company is right in Jew Town. We use P. B. No. 245 for all our correspondence. If you’ve ever walked through Jew Town, you know it has a lot of character and history. We’re right in the thick of it, though we don’t spend much time looking at the sights. We’re usually too busy inside the office. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings that stay a little cooler in the heat. We’ve got our setup here, mostly just desks and a lot of ledger books. We don’t go for anything fancy or modern. It’s more about having a place that works. The streets outside can get crowded with tourists and locals, but inside Orient Export Company, it’s just the usual routine. We deal with the exports and keep things moving as best we can. There’s always a bit of dust because of the old construction, but we don’t mind. It feels like a place where real work happens. We’ve been at P. B. No. 245 for years, and it’s become home for the business. We don't have some corporate philosophy or a grand plan. We just come in every morning, drink our tea, and get to work on the orders. It’s a simple life in an old part of town, and that’s fine by us. We stay until the work is finished for the day.
