You can find Akhil Exporters over at Oombalayil in Kolenchery. It is a decent spot to work from. We aren't right in the middle of a big city, which suits us just fine. The office is part of the community here. Most of us who work here live nearby, so it’s a short commute. We spend our days coordinating shipments and making sure the suppliers are on schedule. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just see us working at our old wooden desks. We try to keep things simple and avoid overcomplicating the export process. Mistakes happen sometimes, like a typo on a form, and we just spend the afternoon sorting it out. That’s the reality of a small business in Kolenchery. We don't use big words to describe our work. We just move products from here to places far away. It is interesting to think about where our stuff ends up while we are just sitting here in Oombalayil. We’ve grown a bit over the years, but the way we work hasn't changed much. We still value a good chat and a cup of coffee while we figure out the logistics for the next week. It’s a practical way to spend the day.
