Image Arcade

Image Arcade is located at 32/780 on Ilawoongla Road, right near the Pipe Line Junction. It’s a well-known spot for locals because the junction is always busy. The shop isn't huge, but we managed to fit all our equipment inside. We do a bit of everything related to images and printing here. The counters are usually covered with photo paper and half-finished projects. It can get a bit disorganized when we have a lot of customers at once. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the stuff that works. The walls have some old prints pinned up that have faded over the years. We spend most of our time at the back, working on the machines. The air is always a bit cool because of the fans we keep running for the printers. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an hour just cleaning the heads. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s a regular job for us, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by name. We just try to get the prints looking decent and out the door on time. The phone rings a lot with people checking on their orders, so it stays pretty lively in here. We usually close up shop when the last customer leaves.
