Our office is situated at 16/1403A on Market Road in Thoppumpady. We are quite close to the Geo Hotel, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The area is always buzzing with traffic because of the market nearby. You can hear the trucks and the horns all day long. We work on moving things from one place to another. Our desks are usually buried under piles of shipping manifests and customs documents. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, but it’s often too noisy to keep it open. We have a small crew here, and we’ve been working together for a long time. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp during the afternoon slump. The floor is tiled and a bit worn down in the spots where we roll our chairs back and forth. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing or advertising; we just handle the work as it comes in. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a shipment is delayed, and the phones don't stop ringing. We just take it one step at a time and try to keep everything organized. It’s a practical business, and we focus on the details of the paperwork. The air conditioner is a bit old and makes a humming sound, but it gets the job done during the hot Kochi afternoons.
