We’re located over at 12-597-8 Jawahar Road in Koovapadam. Harmony Spices Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in an area that has been dealing with spices for a very long time. It’s an old part of town, and our building feels like it’s seen a lot of history. Most days, we’re busy sorting through piles of different spices, getting them ready for whoever needs them. The smells here are strong—sometimes it’s pepper, sometimes it’s something sweeter. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting sacks and weighing things out on the scales. We don't have any polished lobby or corporate offices. It’s more about the wooden floors and the sound of the ceiling fans clicking overhead. The staff here are mostly locals who have been with us through many seasons. We know the regulars who come by, and we usually have time for a quick tea while the work continues. Koovapadam is a tight-knit place, and we like being part of that. Sometimes the rain comes down hard on the roof and we have to move everything away from the windows, but we’ve got a good routine down. We just keep our heads down and focus on the spices. It’s nothing fancy, just a group of people working together on Jawahar Road to get things done. We’ve been here a while and plan on staying right where we are. It’s a good way to earn a living.
